ELECTRIC-FIELD STRENGTH
An alarm is not enough. You need to understand the signal.
Neutral and earth conductors may carry induced or coupled fields that trigger a conventional detector. R18 does more than beep: its display shows detected field strength, helping distinguish a weak or induced signal from the clear presence of a live phase.

NON-CONTACT PHASE SEQUENCE
L1, L2, L3. Read phase sequence without contact.
Scan the three conductors in sequence through their insulation. R18 acquires L1, L2 and L3 and shows phase rotation on the display, without connecting probes or accessing live parts.
Electric-field strength becomes visible.
A conventional voltage detector often does no more than beep. R18 also displays electric-field strength — vital information when an induced field on neutral or earth might otherwise appear to be live voltage.
IP67. Water does not stop the job.
The IP67 construction protects R18 against dust and water ingress. Its compact, robust body is designed for cabinets, panels, jobsites and environments where an ordinary detector is too delicate.
Light exactly where you are testing.
The integrated LED torch illuminates the conductor and working area. The display and illuminated tip remain clearly visible inside deep panels and poorly lit environments.
