NOVA PV
The sun generates. You verify.
From protective-conductor continuity to string insulation. NOVA PV brings together electrical measurements for commissioning and maintaining photovoltaic installations, with results you can save and transfer to a PC.

NOVA PV / UNIKS
From modules to reports. Every test, organised.
Designed for installers and maintenance teams working on residential and commercial PV installations. The manual describes electrical tests according to EN 62446, on systems below 1000 V DC and within the instrument’s current limits.

01 / CONTINUITY · RPE
Verify the protective earth connection.
Measure the low resistance of protective conductors and equipotential bonding. Low Ω mode tests both polarities and displays the higher value; R+ and R− allow separate tests. ZERO compensates for test-lead resistance, while an adjustable threshold provides a clear result.

02 / INSULATION · RISO
Three voltages. Two test methods.
Select 250, 500 or 1000 V DC. Method 1 measures between two parts and also supports continuous testing. Method 2 measures between the joined positive and negative PV poles and PE, for modules and strings; continuous testing is not available in this mode. The display shows resistance, test voltage and the test outcome.

03 / POLARITY · VOC · ISC
Conditions change. Keep comparisons clear.
The automatic sequence checks polarity, open-circuit voltage Voc and short-circuit current Isc. Simple mode displays the actual test readings. In manual mode, enter irradiance, temperature, module data and string configuration: NOVA PV calculates STC correction. Remote mode receives irradiance and temperature from a compatible meter over a wireless connection.

04 / MEMORY · USB · REPORTS
Turn measurements into documentation.
Organise results by client, location, array, string and module. Transfer them via USB to the PC software described in the manual and generate editable Excel sheets: a results table or a test-certificate layout. Connection diagrams available through the help key support work on the instrument.
